Position yourself on the market

The importance of positioning on the market is often underrated. You need to understand your market, you have to have a desire to dominate your specific market. Otherwise, you are wasting your time.

Ask yourself: “Who is your competition?” ”Who are your customers?’‘ Those are very important questions.

If you are starting a business within something that is your passion, you probably have those answers already.

But it’s not always like that and it’s always good to make some more research. It is necessary to do massive online presence research to better understand positioning on the market:

  1. Learn everything that you can about your market, through the internet
  2. If you have the chance to talk with the market – definitely do that. Have a conversation with the customers and ask them about your competition and listen carefully. It does not hurt to ask, this is an excellent way to get the information you need to know.
  3. Check social media of the competitors and customers, read the comments, study their strengths and weaknesses.
  4. Study customer behavior

Gain knowledge about the environment

Do all those things to gain knowledge about the environment you’re going to be part of. Turn it into your advantage.

Define your easy-to-get customers because they will enable you to start the ball rolling. Also, do not forget the competitors and always strive to compare yourself with the better.

Owning the industry is what you’re after and knowing what all the others think and what is their behavior on that same market can be a huge advantage.
